Current Chair: John O'Neill
Dr. John O'Neill is the Founder of the Contextual Behavioral Science Institute. He is a doctoral level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D); has published various works including book chapters, peer-reviewed research, and professional magazine articles; participated in local, regional, national, and international conferences; and presented his police academy training research alongside the President of the United States of America.
Past Chair: Ashley Fiorilli
Dr. Ashley Fiorilli has worked in the field of developmental disabilities for 13 years. She graduated from Barry University with a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2005. She began her career as a service coordinator which led to a passion in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, which led her to further her education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis. Vice Chair: Miguel Avila
Miguel Avila, MA, BCBA has focused his clinical training opportunities in the field of ABA. He works for the Professional Crisis Management Association and travels throughout the USA, Europe and South America where he enjoys assisting others through the clinical application of behavior analysis. He is an adjunct professor with the University of West Florida where he teaches graduate courses for BACB certification.
Secretary: Beth Garrison
Beth currently serves as the Founder and Senior Consultant for Shaping Development, LLC, an organization committed to helping people shape individual, staff, and organizational development, and also serves as an adjunct professor at Temple University and Capella University. To further her dissemination efforts she is the Founder and CEO of Operant Coffee, LLC, a company that is committed to combining her love of behavior analysis and coffee, by disseminating behavior analysis in a unique way!
Treasurer: Lesley Shawler
Lesley Shawler, Ph.D., BCBA has worked in the field of applied behavior analysis for over 13 years with children and adults with developmental disabilities. She recently graduated with her Ph.D in applied behavior analysis from Endicott College under the supervision of Dr. Caio Miguel and Dr. Michael Dorsey. Events Chair: Annie Escalante
Annie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and a co-founder of BehaviorMe, a virtual reality company producing simulations to train and asses staff. She received her Master of Science in Counseling & Behavior Analysis and a Bachelor of Arts. She has experience working with children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities in a variety of environments. Her passion lies in innovative ways of training and assessing individuals using VR. She currently lives in San Mateo, CA.
