Abstract: During this presentation, individuals on the Autism Spectrum who also work in the field of behavior analysis will discuss cultural considerations BCBAs serving folks with ASD might want to be aware of. Panel members will share their experiences being a part of the behavior analysis community while also identifying as part of the Autism community. Audience members will learn about how these perspectives could enhance their ability to provide culturally competent services to individuals on the spectrum as well as how the PECC applies to this goal. Quesiton and answer opportunities will be provided at the conclusion of the presentation.

Objectives: Partipcants will generate professional development goals for improving cultural competency when serving individuals with ASD. Participants will engage in discussion related to diversity inclusion and equity in service of individuals on the Spectrum.
